Embark on a 5-day journey from Fes to Marrakech, crossing the Sahara Desert, Atlas Mountains, and historic kasbahs. Experience camel rides, luxury desert camps, and Morocco’s most stunning landscapes.
Day 1: Fes → Ifrane → Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga
Morning: Depart Fes, drive through Ifrane (“Little Switzerland”) & Cedar Forests (see wild monkeys).
Cross Middle Atlas Mountains, stop in Midelt for lunch.
Afternoon: Descend into the dramatic Ziz Valley, arrive in Merzouga.
Evening: Sunset camel trek into Erg Chebbi Dunes, overnight in luxury desert camp (dinner, music, stargazing).
Day 2: Merzouga → Rissani → Todgha Gorge → Dades Valley
Sunrise camel ride back to Merzouga.
Visit Rissani (traditional market & origin of Morocco’s ruling dynasty).
Explore Todgha Gorge (hike between 300m-high cliffs).
Evening: Stay in Dades Valley (dinner & hotel with canyon views).
Day 3: Dades Valley → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech
Morning: Drive through Rose Valley (colorful in spring).
Visit Ouarzazate (film studios & Taourirt Kasbah).
Explore UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou (famous for Gladiator & Game of Thrones).
Cross High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
Evening: Arrive in Marrakech, overnight in riad/hotel.
Day 4: Marrakech City Tour
Full-day guided tour:
Jemaa el-Fnaa Square (snake charmers, food stalls).
Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia Mosque.
Majorelle Garden & Ben Youssef Madrasa.
Evening: Free time to explore, overnight in riad.
Day 5: Marrakech (Departure or Extensions)
Morning: Free time for last-minute shopping in the souks.
Afternoon: Transfer to airport OR extend to Essaouira/Casablanca.
